The Automated Machine Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient operation of the filling equipment while achieving production requirements. He or she will work to coordinate the efforts of the Packer to ensure the highest quality products are produced. Reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Manager and/or the Manufacturing Supervisor/Department Lead, the Automated Machine Operator operates and maintains the production machinery and leads the other members involved in the production line.
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED and/or a Silver Level National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC), at least two years of experience operating automatic machines or similar complex machinery where mechanical maintenance skills were used, and proven mechanical skills with respect to electrically controlled production equipment. He or she must be able to successfully complete designated selection exams and must meet the essential functions of this position as described.
To meet the essential functions of this position the individual must be able to:
Frequently lift up to 40 pounds to move or carry product
Frequently perform repetitive reaching, grasping, and lifting of product, materials, and boxes
Work in a non-climate controlled environment in temperatures up to 95 degrees in summer months
Frequently communicate with users to understand their requests
Frequently see product colors and differentiate between shades
Regularly use specific vision abilities required by this job, including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Regularly use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
Frequently stand, walk, squat, stoop, or kneel, reach above the head, and bend or twist the neck and trunk
Occasionally use a computer work station
Frequently operate a Powered Industrial Truck or LiftEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
